Good Faith Estimate
At Heartland, we believe in transparency so you can make informed decisions about your care. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate,” which outlines the expected cost of your services. If you are not using insurance or do not have insurance, we will provide an estimate of charges for your care.
You’re entitled to receive a written Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of non-emergency services. We will provide this at least one business day before your appointment, and you’re always welcome to request one before scheduling.
If your final bill is at least $400 more than your estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge. We recommend keeping a copy of your estimate for your records. For more information about your rights, please visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Investing in Your Mental Health
Therapy is an investment in your emotional well-being, relationships, and overall quality of life. Many clients find that counseling provides valuable support, practical tools, and meaningful growth that extends beyond the therapy room. Whether using insurance or private pay, seeking support is an important step toward healing and wellness.
